Brian Veal has been serving at FBC Moberly since July 2009. He served as the Associate Pastor from 2009-2022. In April, he was called to be the Senior Pastor at FBC Moberly. Brian and his wife, Karla, were married in 2001 and have one son, Mason. Brian was saved in 2001, following a life-threatening illness to his then-girlfriend, Karla. On the night he asked Karla to be wife (May 18th, 2001), he also asked Jesus to forgive his sins and be the Lord of his life.
Brian and his wife, Karla, also founded Gold for Grey Ministries, a non-profit organization founded in honor of their late son, Greyson Veal, who passed away from leukemia in 2021. GFG Ministries ministers to kids and families who are battling pediatric illness and trauma. To date, GFG Ministries has provided financial support, prayer, and spiritual support to over 125 families, most of them within a 60-mile radius of Randolph County.
Brian holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies from Midwestern Baptist College, a Masters of Theological Studies (MTS), and a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Leadership (M.Div) and Doctor of Ministry in Church Revitilization (D.Min) at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Brian's favorite book is the one he's reading at the moment, Brian and his family are avid sports fans, and love rooting for the KC Royals, KC Chiefs, Denver Nuggets,Alabama Crimson Tide and the Missouri Tigers.
